Long charging time but batteries last FOREVER!

I got this charger/battery set just before I had my baby because everyone told me to start stocking up on batteries. All the kids' stuff uses C or D batteries. So far I'm very impressed with it! The batteries do take a long time to charge (overnight or all day) but they hold a charge for a LONG time. We used 3 of these in my baby swing and it was over a month of daily use before they needed to be recharged. Best D size NiMH ever used!

I was in market for a nice D sized rechargeable and got so disappointed by those in target/walmart that marks 2500mAh looks like all that energizer/duracell did was put a bigger shell outside a AA battery and sell for much more money. I got 4 of these Tenergy cells from a friend and they are simply AMAZING!



Not only the capacity is so huge but also I heard they are the new generation low-self-discharge and after a few months use I can testify that all these are TRUE!



One bad thing for me is that I do not have a good charger my old D cell capable charger can only do 500mA so it took a whole day and night for me to charge them but I have never had to do the recharge often at all it lasts so long that I feel like it is battery than those disposable duracells although I have not done any precise measurement.



I believe my last set of duracell disposable lasted about a month or so in the baby swing set and the tenergy lasts for well over a month in my impression coz I only had to charge them twice so far within 4 months.



I know my AA NiMHs will dry out in 2 months even if I do not touch them so the low self discharge seems really helped.



Combining all the facts - 10Ah huge capacity low discharge and rechargeable! I am sure these batteries are the best D cells I've ever used!

Best disposable battery on the market!

If you have seen the television ads where Duracell advertises that NASA uses their batteries and shake your head in disbelief you are partially right and partially wrong. Procell deadcell

Contrary to purported performance claims my experience with these batteries has significantly worsened my opinion of Duracell's products. Decades of experience with Everready Energizers - and with other Duracell products (e.g. Coppertops) - show ProCell products to be markedly inferior in performance. Regardless of how long their shelf life may be they simply haven't performed up to par much less equally to other Alkaline batteries.
